OLGA DYBKA Peacefully, on September 7, 2008, Olga Dybka age 76 years passed away at the Holy Family Nursing Home in Winnipeg. She was predeceased by her parents, Michael and Katherine Dybka and siblings, Michael Dybka, Mary Ference, Walter Dybka, Bernice Swatek and very recently Reverend Father Yaroslaw Dybka CSsR and Ann Kolodi. She is survived by her twin sister, Sister Petronella Dybka S.S.M.I. of Edmonton and sister-in-law Mary Anne Dybka, as well as many nieces and nephews. In her early years, Olga was a Sister with the Missionary Sisters of Christian Charity. When they disbanded in the early 1960s, Olga returned to Winnipeg and began working for Greb Shoes. Olga was a lover of music and dancing and always had a song to sing and if she could get you to sing, she was even happier. She loved all animals, especially horses and spoke often about riding them when Olga was younger. She and her twin were mischievous as youngsters and neither of them outgrew the love of a good joke. A tragic bicycling accident proved to be life altering in the late 1980s. She grew into a new, quieter life. Although, her love of her nieces and nephews and music and fun never waned. We will miss you dear chocha, but we are happy that you are resting at peace with your family. We know you are singing and dancing. The family wishes to express special thanks to the Sisters and Staff of the Holy Family Nursing Home for their care and understanding. Prayers will be held Thursday, September 11, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. at Holy Family Ukrainian Catholic Church, Harrow and Grant, and Divine Liturgy will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 12 also at Holy Family Church, Rev. Father Mark Gnutel officiating. Interment will be at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. Chapel Lawn 885-9715
